All about our Club!
We can put pictures in through the editor, link to a photo gallery, display a gallery slideshow, or simply just use text to describe our club.
If you are making this the home page, of your website, it is best to be mindful of how you open the first paragraph of text, as this is what tends to appear in search engines. We always, as a rule, recommend a “Welcome to the ___ club of Location/Area” Add a tagline behind it, if you have one or just simply list what Cities or Trails you connect to.
As a default, this Page is setup to be /club-info/ if not your home page, and it is titled “Club Info” which will appear in peoples browsers.
If you want to change this to not be your home page. You can either choose to display your Latest POSTS, or, you can choose another page (such as Trails, Attractions, or things people look for that you wish to be discovered by). To change which page is your home page.. do so by logging into your website Dashboard as Admin and visit
Settings > Reading.
Getting Started!
A new site can be a challenging endeavor, however, we have mad some mock pages (without graphics when possible) so you can simply go in and edit them. Please visit ClubHosting’s Support section and watch some videos. Familiarize yourself with the Easy Text editor, and using Paragraph/Heading tags when you can, as this will give you a very finished and professional look to your design vs standard BOLD, UNDERLINED, or COLORED text. No one likes it. You may try getting peoples attention, but you will only drive them away.
To change the information that is appearing on this page, please do so by simply Clicking “Edit Page” (if you’re logged in) at the top of the screen, or as a part of the page. Use the visual editor. Add your text, worry about pictures later!
