Unfortunately, this is a fictitious trail, but fortunately, as it is a fictitious trail, we can gladly say we have packed down a whopping 3′ of snow, into a firm, solid base. It will never wear our, or become rough, as it is magic snow.
When you create a POST and mark the CATEGORY as Trail Conditions, it will automatically appear int the latest Trail Conditions Widget on your Trails page, as well as under your category “Trail Conditions”
What about Email Subscriptions?
Not for a free level. We have both Easy Subscriber options, as well as detailed (which will let users Select how often, what categories, and even which authors get sent to them – instead of everything, everytime you update). Most do the Easy ones, but it is there for those that wish to use. It is part of our Extras! service, and we highly recommend it. It will send a link to the post you made (and you can choose to include an excerpt, but we say not to), and it will bring the member back to your clubs website.
Remember, the more people coiming back to the website, the better!
Whats the best way to display updates?
If you have multiple trails you groom, and are a large snowmobile club. We advise you either name your trail conditions posts by the trail name as you update them, then expand the number of posts that appear in the widget.
OR
Create Sub-Categories of Trail Conditions, with your specific trails. Then Add more widgets to the “Trails..” sidebar. Make sure you have a sample post in each category you create, as they don’t show up until they have posts in them.
